One common mistake in home maintenance is that tasks are not performed as often as they should be. Just as it is more practical to attend to repair and replacement needs as soon as they occur, it also means a lot to accomplish certain maintenance tasks as soon as the need arises.
Some tasks, such as cleaning or replacing the AC or furnace filters and cleaning out debris off the sink and tub stoppers, should be done on a monthly basis. However, other tasks may require long time intervals before they have to be performed again.
